FAQ

What is Clore?
Clore is a platform offering a marketplace for GPU leasing, allowing users to rent computing power for tasks like AI development and cryptocurrency mining.
How does Clore work?
Clore connects GPU owners with those needing computing power through a peer-to-peer marketplace. Transactions are facilitated with Clore Coin, ensuring security and transparency.
What is Clore Coin?
Clore Coin is the native cryptocurrency of the Clore platform, used for transactions and rewarding users for participation.
What is Proof of Holding?
Proof of Holding (PoH) is a system where users earn rewards for holding Clore Coins in their wallets, encouraging long-term engagement.
What type of GPUs does Clore offer?
Clore provides a wide range of GPUs, including high-performance models suitable for AI, ML, and 3D rendering tasks. The platform supports various GPU models and configurations to meet diverse computing needs.
What payment methods does Clore accept?
Users can pay for GPU rentals using Clore Coin (CLORE) or Bitcoin (BTC). The platform also supports USDT and USDC (Ethereum ERC-20) for deposits and withdrawals. Paying with CLORE is recommended as it avoids extra currency fees.
Can I deposit USDT or USDC?
Yes! Clore.ai supports USDT and USDC deposits on the Ethereum network (ERC-20). Both stablecoins credit to a unified USD balance. Your USDT/USDC deposit address is the same as your CLORE deposit address. Always send on Ethereum - tokens sent on other networks (BSC, Polygon, etc.) cannot be recovered.
Can I pay for GPU rentals with USDT/USDC?
Currently, USDT/USDC can be used for deposits and withdrawals only. GPU rental payments support CLORE and Bitcoin. Support for stablecoin payments is planned for a future update.
What are extra hoster fees?
When paying with non-CLORE currencies (e.g., Bitcoin), an additional fee is charged to the host. This fee can be reduced to 0% by locking CLORE in the MFP Lock system. CLORE payments have no extra fees.
What is the minimum and maximum duration for GPU leasing?
Clore allows GPU leasing for a minimum of 6 hours, with a maximum duration of 3000 hours (125 days), offering flexibility for both short-term projects and long-term needs.
What is On-Demand Leasing?
On-Demand Leasing is a GPU rental option on Clore.ai that allows users to rent GPUs with a guaranteed performance for a specified duration. This type of leasing comes with a 10% base fee, which can be reduced by up to 50% through the Proof of Holding (PoH) system by holding CLORE tokens (proportional reduction, max 50% at 2M CLORE). PoH fee reduction applies to both renters and hosters. On-demand leases are non-interruptible, meaning no other users can outbid your offer once you secure a rental.
What is Spot Leasing?
Spot Leasing is a GPU rental option on Clore.ai that offers users the ability to rent GPUs at a lower cost, with a 2.5% base fee. This fee can also be reduced by up to 50% through the Proof of Holding (PoH) system. Unlike On-Demand Leasing, Spot Leasing is interruptible, meaning that another user can outbid your offer and take over the rental. This option is ideal for tasks where continuous uptime isn't critical, such as cryptocurrency mining or workloads that can tolerate interruptions.
